FAQ's

What is Clair & Why was it created?

Clair is an online tool that acts as a "care package" in the sense that it is delivered in a timely manner and packed with activities to help them feel better. It's name is a hybrid of the words "clear" and "air". The purpose is simply help students and bring wellness activities to them. It is a senior project by an Aurora University communication student, Andrea Guzel.

What went into the creation of the activities?

Using communication tools, such as Photoshop, Youtube, etc., Andrea Guzel applied the concepts behind the relaxation techniques found at the AU Wellness Center and turned them into online activities. These concepts, such as meditation, deep breathing, positive thinking, etc. are all backed by research and said to be helpful with student success.

What is the purpose of each activity?

Breathe: Introduction to meditation

Mandalas: Meditative coloring

Stop, Pause, Reset: Positive Thinking/ Mantra

Glitter Globe: Meditation

Visualization: Muscle relaxation

Focus Meditation: Guided concentration

Music: Audio Relaxation/ Binaural Beats

Light: Creating light when needed
